Darren Bennett
Title: Director of Player Communications/Facilities Manager

Darren’s entire life has circulated around sport. He grew up a multi-sport athlete playing hockey, volleyball, basketball and later beach volleyball. He is a 20 year veteran of adult hockey and played 2 years in the Kelowna Major Men’s Fastball League. In addition to team sports Darren has ran five marathons. He is a graduate of Rutland Senior Secondary School and Okanagan College.

In 2007 Darren signed up to coach his daughter’s U8 softball team and never looked back.  He has served Kelowna Minor Fastball for 10 years as both a coach and executive member. Darren is no stranger to college softball as he has been influential in helping close to a dozen athletes play post secondary.

Darren claims his greatest achievement in life are his two children, one of which currently plays college softball, and his 25 year happy marriage to his wife, Jenny.
