KELOWNA, B.C. – RBC Training Ground is returning to the UBC Okanagan campus as the department of athletics and recreation will host the Olympic talent identification camp on Sunday, April 10 at the UBCO Gymnasium.
Last hosted on campus back in February 2020 prior to the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, RBC Training Ground is a talent identification and athlete funding program designed to find young athletes with Olympic potential, and provide them with the resources they need to achieve their podium dreams. The program assesses young athletes using basic tests that measure speed, strength, power, and endurance capabilities.
