KELOWNA, B.C. – Six UBC Okanagan Heat volleyball road games that were postponed during the month of January have been officially rescheduled, the department of athletics and recreation announced on Tuesday.

After missing out on their matchup with the Trinity Western Spartans this past weekend, the Heat women's team will now take on their provincial rivals on Friday, February 4th and Saturday, February 5th in Langley. The two teams will square off at 3 p.m. on Friday and 2 p.m. on Saturday with both games live on CanadaWest.tv.

The women's and men's doubleheader against the UFV Cascades in Abbotsford, that was originally scheduled for January 14th and 15th, will now be played on Sunday, February 20th and Monday, February 21st as part of a stretch of four games in four days for the Heat. On Sunday, the men's game will get underway at 4 p.m. followed by the women's game at 6 p.m. while on the Monday, the men will play at 1 p.m. followed by the women at 3 p.m.

All four games will be live on CanadaWest.tv.

Both the women's and men's volleyball teams will be in action this weekend on home court as they host the Thompson Rivers WolfPack. For the women, it will be the first games in nearly two months while the men will be looking to rebound from a weekend sweep at the hands of the top team in Canada, the Trinity Western Spartans.

The action gets underway at the UBCO Gymnasium, otherwise known as The Furnace, on Friday night at 6 p.m. with the women's game followed by the men's game at 8 p.m. The women will also meet TRU at 3 p.m. on Saturday with the men's game set for 5 p.m.
